4G Color

4G Color algorithms transform images without clipping or unwanted color shifts. The transforms can be applied selectively to an arbitrary set of objects, colors, neutrals, and image regions. A sequence of these selective transforms can be combined at high precision into a single transform. This gives minimum possible distortion and maximum possible quality for image transforms. In 2010, a patent was granted for the core technology (United Image Processing System, US 7,656,552).

Compose, a Mac Application for combining parts of images into a composite image, is based on these transforms. Because of the 4G Color Technology, the blending is extremely smooth with no edge or editing artifacts.

Although Compose was designed as a multiple image exposure application, the 4G Color transforms make it an extremely effective general purpose image editor.
